The opening of Dynamic Smile Design is truly a success story about the determination and hard work of Elena C. Puig. Originally from Havana, Cuba, the doctor’s family immigrated to the United States when she was just three months old and settled in Miami, Florida.
Dr. Reshma Patel grew up in Brevard County and went to University of Florida and the Medical University of South Carolina to obtain her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree.

As the practice Office Manager with 25 years in the industry, Ethel keeps our office running smoothly. Her tasks include acting as the business team leader as well as serving as a hygienist.
Ethel says she was always interested in dentistry; she loved her visits to the dentist as a child, her sister is a hygienist, and Ethel herself earned her degree in dental hygiene and is a registered dental hygienist (RDH). Ethel says she loves working with Dr. Puig and the rest of the team at Dynamic Smile Design because of the commitment to excellence, growth, and use of technology: “We do beautiful, quality dentistry that we can all be proud of!”
Ethel is also a personal trainer and a certified yoga instructor with over 300 hours; she teaches yoga and works with Unity Yoga, an organization offering community connection through yoga. When she’s not working or instructing, she enjoys being a DJ, going to the beach, boating, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
Certified Registered Dental Hygienist Amy has 20 years of experience in dental care, Amy specializes in putting patients at ease with her gentle but thorough approach to patient care.
Amy earned her Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene, and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UCF. She is passionate about helping patients achieve and maintain a healthy, attractive smile, and says the best part of working at our dental practice is the ability to provide quality care in a relaxed atmosphere. “We treat everyone like family, and strive to deliver the most up-to-date care that can change people’s lives!”
When she’s not focusing on the details that make for excellent dental care, Amy can be found spending her time with her husband and two twin girls. She enjoys an active lifestyle including beach and mountain getaways, photography, and being a “Dance Mom.”
As the Treatment Plan and Schedule Coordinator, Ivette works with patients to schedule their treatment plans. With 30 years in the dental profession, she loves to share her knowledge with patients when answering their questions and addressing any concerns. She learned about the dental profession from a close family friend who was a dentist. This introduction to the field led her to pursue her EFDA. Ivette says that the oustanding team of professionals at Dynamic Smile Design energices her to provide first-class service to patients.
In her spare time, ivette enjoys spending time with her children, traveling, Crossfit, riding motorcycles and being spontaneous.
Dental Assistant Jessica says she believes that a good first impression is always a beautiful smile. “I want to make people happy by improving that one feature,” she says. Jessica is passionate about dentistry, and says the reward is seeing the way people feel about and react to high quality work.
Jessica attended Concorde Career College for technical school, and has continued her education throughout her 6 years of dental assisting. She says working at our practice has been an incredible experience: “Dr. Puig always listens to each patient’s needs and wants, and the whole team is an amazing support system. We all work together to provide that beautiful smile!”
When she’s not assisting in smile creation, Jessica loves going to the beach, playing football, and hanging out with her Australian Cattle Dog, Maui. She has three cherished nieces and a beloved nephew, and gives back to her community through Smiles For Life, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, and Kids Beating Cancer.
Dental Assistant Nikki has nearly 10 years under her belt in the dental industry, and works tirelessly to provide superlative care to new and existing patients. She handles consults, assists the dentist with procedures, takes X-rays, and updates patient charts. “I’m organized, efficient, and outgoing,” she says, adding “I’m living my dream job — talking to people and helping them achieve their goals!”
Nikki says enjoyed seeing her orthodontist when she had braces, but after a short period of working in an orthodontist’s office she realized she preferred general and cosmetic dentistry. She earned her CDA and EFDA, and says the best part of working in the dental field is being able to change people’s lives. “We make a difference — whether it’s giving someone back confidence by fixing a cosmetic issue, or restoring functionality and health to their smile!” When she’s not assisting with life-improving procedures, Nikki enjoys the outdoors, going to the beach, taking her dog, Harper, on long hikes, and cooking or baking.
